visa update: one step closer!

a mere 13 months and 16 days after we began the immigrant visa process, we have finally completed the application!!  it’s almost surreal - can this really be true??  this is the first real progress we have had in our case ever since the NVC picked up our case again in November of last year.  it is nothing short of a miracle.

now we just have to wait for Montreal to give us an interview date.  the agent on the phone today said that they schedule interviews the second week of each month, but July is already full.  so please pray that we can get a date for August!!

Derek and Ethan are getting ready to come back to Vancouver for a visit tomorrow, and we are planning for them to stay for awhile.  i don’t think i can bear being apart from them again.  just in time for the long weekend, we also have several friends visiting from Hong Kong.  this is going to be an epic weekend!!

THANK YOU so much to all those who prayed for us, sent us messages of encouragement, gave us financial support, fed us, lent me their car and wrote letters for us!!!  we cannot express our gratitude and love enough.  so we pray that the Lord will bless you in ways that you never even expect, and that there will be breakthrough in your life in whatever way you are needing God.  we love you guys!!!
