So here’s my first post, and as part of my commitment this semester, i’m going to blog every single week. so this first post, is about Janice, Ethan and I becoming…. Oregonian?
so life here has been going well is some aspects, not that well is others. School has been going well. It’s a challenge to step back into the arena of academia after taking 10 years away from it, but i’m top of things… kind of. I’m happy with my 3.8 GPA from last term, but you know what? i’m shoot for a 4.0 this term.
Anyways, back to us.

here’s ethan at his 2 year old birthday party. The reason I post this photo is because he’s stinkingly cute, and it’s just weird to think that we’ve been long enough for both Ethan and Janice to have a birthday here.
in fact, last night was the American Football College championship game, and the University of Oregon were playing, and I was cheering them on. like, i actually was cheering as though i was born here or something.
anyways, in many ways our family is embracing our new home here. if the US Govt would care to give Janice her visa, we may even like being American. As it stands, we endure it because I need to stay here to finish school. although once we finish school, i may set my passport on a nice rock, and set that thing on fire and run back to HK using my SAR Passport baby! regardless, life here has been enjoyable as we grow as a family. we get so many precious moments that our cameras and phones can’t record.. but here’s a fav of mine: Jan and Ethan playing on the phone while snuggling in bed. sigh..

so i know this wasn’t any 1) deeply powerful or 2) deeply theological or even 3) remotely entertaining, but hey.. it’s been months and possibly years since i last blogged, i’ll get back into it. until i get back into the swing of things… this will suffice! till next time.
